Care Instructions

  • First 48 hrs: Keep dry (no washing, saunas, or heavy workouts) while the adhesive cures.
  • Brushing: 2–3× daily with a loop/soft brush. Support the tabs; brush ends → mid-lengths → roots.
  • Washing: 1–2×/week, sulfate-free shampoo. Cleanse scalp gently; avoid scrubbing the tabs.
  • Conditioning: Mid-lengths to ends only. Keep conditioners, masks, oils & silicone serums off the tabs.
  • Drying: Pat dry; blow-dry tabs 100% before sleep or hot tools.
  • Heat styling: Heat protectant; tools ≤ 350°F / 175°C. Don’t run irons directly over the tape area.
  • Sleep: Never with wet hair. Loose braid/low pony + silk/satin pillowcase or bonnet.
  • Workouts/Swimming: Secure in braids. Pre-wet + leave-in on mids/ends; rinse ASAP after. Limit chlorine/salt.
  • Maintenance: Move-up every 6–8 weeks. Professional removal only; re-tape and reuse 3–4 times with proper care.
  • Color: Deposit-only, professional tone adjustments (no bleach). Always strand-test.

How to apply your TAPE-In extensions

STEP 1

Section Your Hair

Create a clean horizontal parting about an inch above the nape of your neck. Clip the upper section out of the way to keep the working area clear.

STEP 2

Prep the Base

Lightly straighten the roots and ensure the section is clean and free of oils. For extra grip, apply a small amount of dry shampoo to the root area.

STEP 3 

PLACE THE FIRST TAPE

Take a thin slice of natural hair—no thicker than a sheet of paper. Lift it slightly and place the first extension tape underneath the slice, close to the scalp but not touching it.

STEP 4

SANDWICH THE TAPES

Place the second tape-in weft directly on top, aligning it with the bottom tape to create a secure “sandwich.” Press firmly with your fingers to ensure full adhesion.

BUILD SECTION BY SECTION

Continue moving upward in clean horizontal sections, repeating the sandwich method. Keep 1 inch of spacing between each row for a seamless, natural blend.
