  • If the weft is cut, seal the ends; don’t sew through the seam.
  • Brush 2–3× daily, ends → roots, with a loop/soft bristle brush.
  • Wash 1–2×/week (sulfate-free); condition mids → ends only.
  • Dry 100% at the seam before heat or sleep.
  • Use heat protectant; keep tools ≤ 350°F / 175°C; avoid the seam.
  • Sleep in a loose braid on a silk/satin pillowcase.
  • Swim/gym: pre-wet + leave-in; rinse immediately after.
  • Pro maintenance / move-up every 6–8 weeks; deposit color only (no bleach).
  • Store clean, dry hair in a silk bag or hanger.

HOW TO APPLY YOUR MACHINE WEFT EXTENSIONS

Section Your Hair

Create a clean horizontal parting at the nape of your neck. Secure all upper hair away to expose the base where the first weft will be attached.

PREP THE FOUNDATION

Lightly tease the roots or apply a small amount of dry shampoo for grip. Make sure the section is clean and even before stitching or beading the weft.
