How to apply your Clip-In extensions

STEP 1

Section Your Hair

Use a tail comb to create a clean horizontal part from ear to ear. Clip or tie away the upper section to keep it out of the way.

Prep the Base

Gently tease the roots about one inch from your scalp to create a secure base. For extra grip, apply a light mist of dry shampoo or hairspray.

STEP 3 

Clip In the Wefts

Select a 2-clip or 3-clip weft. Open the clips, position them close to your teased roots, and snap them shut. Leave about half an inch of natural hair around your hairline for a seamless blend.

Build Layer by Layer

Work your way up, sectioning and applying each weft row by row. Keep 1–3 inches of natural hair between each layer for a smooth, natural finish.
